Midwinter Fire
Midwinter Fire was a student run proposal for the Winter Stations annual exhibition along Toronto's beaches.
Year: 2017
School: University of Toronto Daniels Faculty
Professor: Peter North
As an interactive exhibit we used the walls as a means to get people into the space and alter their perception of what the outside is to the inside
In addition, the interior utilizes local vegetation to warm and brighten the interior space. Via the use of reflective walls the interior is warmed from reflected solar rays while also creating a sensory experience from the appearance of a fissured fire from the reflected vegetation.
