Stories Bookshop
In total, four benches were crafted. The benches were designed to be paired together, one blue and one pink at a time.
One of the main challenges we faced when assembling was the geometric shape and having all sides from all benches align.
The majority of time and effort during assembly was placed on every point of alignment; filing, sanding, and comparing and repeat.
Roles and work completed:
Fabrication design
CNC operation
Hand fabrication
Finishing.
Project completed by LAMAS Architecture and is located in Brooklyn, New York, United States of America.
